I am in the process of doing my "homework" for finding a legitimate online home based business. First, this is what I will NOT even consider:

1) MLM
2) Get rich fast or overnight schemes that have all the stupid fake testimonials, screen shots of pay pal accounts overflowing with money, and websites with pictures of mansions and piles of cash.
3) Cash gifting
4) One page landing page pitches that ask you to "take a leap of faith."

This is what I WILL consider:

1) An online business or affiliate program that has a reputable track record that can be verified.
2) Building my own PERSONALIZED website (no turnkey websites) having a legitimate product or service that is profitable and popular.
3) A home based business that has a solid business model that can be duplicated.

I realize starting an online business will take time, money and work. And as I said before – I’m performing "due diligence" and I want to keep my start up costs under 0 (is this possible?). What are my best home based business options considering what I’ve laid out here?

We just downloaded an additional mcaffe virus protection thing but now when I try to go on some regular websites it says blocked and a red screen pops up that says protect now and stuff like that and when I go over the link (I haven’t clicked on it yet ) the website is ie8blacklist2.com and it doesn’t look like it’s affiliated wit mcaffe so my question is whether it’s a virus or a legit program

Hi there, I’m glad you’re interested in my car.

This is a 2006 Honda Civic Hybrid,Fuel type: Hybrid-electric, 4
Cylinders,Transmission: Automatic , only 19,800 ; Miles, VIN#
JHMFA36276S024082.

Here you can find more pictures with the car:

http://picasaweb.google.com/craigdwills2/Civic

(if the above link does not work copy and paste it into a new web
browser window)

It is in EXCELLENT condition; the body and paint are great, no
scratches and no dents; the interior is clean; it has never been
involved in an accident.

I’m an US Air Force Col. currently stationed in UK and the car is here
with me. It was bought in the US and shipped to Europe, but it was
never permanently registered here, the car is still registered in the
US.

The car is for sale locally as well, but there are slim chances of
this to happen. First of all this is a US model car, with the steering
wheel on the left side, as opposed to a UK model, that has the
steering wheel on the right side. And second, in order to be able to
register this car here in UK the buyer would have to pay very high
import/custom taxes. So I decided to sell the car back in the US.
As I’m unable to travel in the near future and I don’t have anyone
back home to help me with the sale I decided to make this transaction
through eBay or craigslist.

So how this actually works? Simple: the buyer sends the payment to
eBay and they hold the money until the car is delivered; I ship the
car to US; I get my money only after the buyer receives the car and
makes sure everything is as agreed. I believe this protects both buyer
and seller and it’s the right way to do this.

The final price is ,000 including shipping from Europe to the US and
delivery to your home address.

So if you decide to buy this car or need further information please
get back to me as soon as possible.

Thank you and have a great day,
Col. John G. Clarke

I worked in a Web Development company where I help built websites, Internet Marketing (SEO, SEM, PPC, ecommerce, mailing list, etc).

Now, according to my contract/non-compete, it states I can’t work on a company doing the same thing nor do something similar. Well, this makes no sense to me since, for the past year I’ve been working on projects that constantly got can celled due to clients not paying on time and using outdated technologies. So, in terms of experience for work, I don’t got much of a portfolio to show. Now, here’s the worse part — the company don’t want me to make websites in my own free time as a hobby — basically, I can’t built my own web app or websites making money on the side (mailing list, selling things, affiliates, etc). To them, they’re afraid I’m copying their ideas — but isn’t that stupid since 90% of websites that money do the same thing??? How can you protect that? And if they somehow google my name and link me to a website I’ve built in my freetime, they were planning to acquire it and take legal action for it.

Ok, about two weeks ago, I got laid off due to budget cut…so now I can’t say how much I’ve accomplish at the company due to projects going downhill. And if prospective employers in an interview ask me if I enjoy making websites/programming or running one on my own as a hobby, I can’t show anything since my previous employer did not want me to make websites or money off it as a hobby.

How do I deal with this situation?

I think I have been making sales through clickbank but my commissions are getting stolen. How can viruses in my computer steal? I hear it happens but I need to understand. Clickbank affiliate links are always encrypted to avoid that. But I still get robbed. Plus let me please ask, should I trust these free url shortening and redirecting services like bit.ly, tinyurl etc. Could they be the thiefs?
I really need to understand how to best protect myself given I have no money for a website. I use social sites like facebook and actually some of my friends confirm they bought through my links but I see no money. Should I stop using bit.ly to cloak my links and tinyurl?

I am interested in doing affiliate marketing but i dont want to create a website or blog, then how i can i do it?ONLY SERIOUS GENUINE ANS.

I want to start my own affiliate marketing website. Will anyone visit a subdomain website like weebly? If people do visit how do I get people to go to my website? What would be a good idea for a subdomain website anyway?
